Fashionable, elegant Leah Rabin, wife of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, smiles at the ceremony for the new government, headed by her husband, at the Presidents residence, Beit Hanassi, in Jerusalem, on July 14, 1992. The Rabins were married for 47 years until he was assassinated in 1995. Leah Rabin died from lung cancer at 72 in 2000, 9 days after the 5th anniversary of her husbands death. They are buried together at Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem.
