Nickname: Cherry, Yingtao, Jingtao, Wedge Peach, Yingtao, Niutao, Cherry Pear, Hantao, Agate Varieties: Red Light, Yellow Light, Purple, Mandarin Duck, Crystal, Italian Red, Early Red, Pioneer, Rabins, Early Fruit, Fumi, Early Black Pearl Daihong Renega Red Stanlemeizao, Zhifu Red. It is the earliest listed tree fruit, known as the "first branch of a hundred fruits". It is said that the yellow warbler is particularly fond of pecking at this fruit, hence the name "Yingtao". Although its fruit is as small as a pearl, it has a bright red color and is as exquisite as an agate gemstone. Its taste is sweet and slightly sour, and it can be eaten fresh, pickled, or used as an ornament in other dishes and foods, making it highly favored.
