This is a fish-eye view of the Reception Hall of the Ceremonial Wing of Beit Hanassi, the Official Residence of the President of Israel in Jerusalem. Visible is the painted ceiling by Naftali Bezem, of 63 squares of acrylic on asbestos. A stained glass triptych by Reuven Ruben is 6 meters high and adjoins a mosaic tiled floor. Jewish, Biblical, and Israeli themes are central. The Jerusalem Wall of Fame (right) is a loose representation of the Western Wall. |
