Sremski Karlovci is a town in the municipality of Sremski Karlovci, in the South BaÃÂka District, but they belong to the geographical region of Srem, whose name also appears in the name of the settlement. Sremski Karlovci is located on the right bank of the Danube River, 12 km from Novi Sad and 9 km from Petrovaradin on the old road to Belgrade.
