A small one-story pavilion of octagonal shape. It was built in 1784-1785 by the court architect Bazhenov. In his drawings, the architect calls the First and Second cavalry corps `small houses`. In the master plan explication, one is designated as a `waiter`s House`. The second is the `house of obscure` that is, without certain functions. The Cavalry corps received its current name during the certification of the Tsaritsyn ensemble in 1947. |
