A display of different materials of wooden calligraphy pens, variation of different reeds, bamboos and handam: fern stems. These traditional Arabic calligraphy pens are also known as Qalams in classical Islamic arts. The freshly carved bamboo pen at the bottom is rested on top of a pile of wooden shavings from carvings.
