Rotterdam is the second-largest city in the Netherlands and one of the largest ports in the world. In the 1990s, the Kop van Zuid was built on the south bank of the river the Nieuwe Maas as a new business centre. In the front of the head the historical building of the shipping company Holland-Amerika Lijn (HAL) from 1901. On the left the Erasmusbrug, also called 'de Zwaan' ('the Swan') because of the elegant twist in the pylon. On the right the entrance to the Rhine Port.
