| The the magnificent Hanbury Hall as seen from the formal vegetable garden. Hanbury Hall was built in the William and Mary style for Thomas Vernon in the early 1700s. This Hall is an excellent example of the English-Baroque design but with a more modest and restrained style. The house remained in the hands of the same family until 1953 when it was acquired by the National Trust. |
