| The main entrance to the magnificent Hanbury Hall which was built in the William and Mary style for Thomas Vernon in the early 1700s. This Hall is an excellent example of the English-Baroque design but with a more modest and restrained style. The house remained in the hands of the same family until1953 when it was acquired by the National Trust. |
