| Gothic revival home built in 1857, and sold to Blackjack Pershing,s parents and where he lived until leaving his home to study at West Point Military Academy as a young man. Home is located in Linn County, Missouri, in the small town of Laclede. House is in the process of being repainted with plastic covering some of the windows. Pershing lived here from age 6 to a young adult. Front view of the structure with the wide front porch. House is a National Historic Place. |
