Historic Prairie Mound schoolhouse where Blackjack Pershing taught students from ages 6 to 18 and where he himself attended school. Building is located about half a block from General Pershing's boyhood home in Laclede, Missouri, in Linn County. Building is now a museum dedicated to General Pershing's exploits in the army and especially World War I. He became the highest ranking general of his era, wearing 5 stars as General of the Armies. Sunny day with blue skies and puffy white clouds.
