Bakong temple ruins, Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia. The temple is part of the Roluos group, that include three temples, Bakong, Praeh Ko e Lolei. It built in late 9th century and was the first temple mountain of sandstone built under the rule of Khmer empire. The structure of Bakong took shape of stepped pyramid. |
