This is a Fall picture of the main entrance pathway to the iconic Baha’i House of Worship located in Wilmette, Illinois in Cook County. This concrete structure was designed by Louis Jean Bourgeois and George A. Fuller, it is the oldest surviving Baha’i House of Worship in the World, construction began in 1912 and would be completed in 1953. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic zplaces on May 23, 1978.
