`Yearning to Know` by Randolph Wardell Johnston outside Starpoint School on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth

Pictured is a bronze sculpture titled `Yearning to Know` by Randolph Wardell Johnston outside Starpoint School on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. M.J. and Alice Neeley founded the special education school in 1977 and raised funds for the building which opened in 1978. After Alice Neeley`s death in 1986, her husband commissioned this statue in commemoration. The artist replicated a photograph of Alice`s mother, Mary Brazelton Snead, reading to the couple`s daughters, Marian and Kathleen. The dedication ceremony was October 28th, 1990.
