Bucharest, Romania. 26th Oct, 2025: (L-R) Eduard Tatian Mititelu, Sebastian Burduja and Robert Sighiartau, deputies of the National Liberal Party, arrive at the Romanian National Cathedral to attend the consecration of the interior mosaic icons of the Cathedral, an event marking the centennial of the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate and 140 years of Autocephaly. First proposed in 1881 during the reign of King Carol I, it has been under construction since 2010 and stands today as the largest Orthodox Cathedral in the world, dominating Bucharest with its over 130 meters height.
