Thhe third generation represented a major body style change which was known as the Mako Shark II. The Base engine was a 350 C.I. V-8 that produced a meager 270HP. The largest engine was the 454 C.I. V-8. A popular engine powertrain combination was a 427 C.I. V-8 mated with a four speed manual transmission.
