Founded in the 15th century, Wat Suan Tan is also known as “the Temple of the Sugar Palm Grove” and is noted for its large Sukhothai-style chedi or stupa, measuring 40m high as well as the `Phra Chao Thong Thipun`, a beautiful seated Buddha in Sukhothai style bronze.
