| The First Christian Church in Central Phoenix, Arizona/USA (on Seventh Avenue) was built (1973) after Frank Lloyd Wrights death following his plans to the letter. The Church Architects Guild of America has called this church one of the 10 best church buildings ever built in America. The four-sided spire and the roof windows (stained-glass) that cap the worship center are designed to provide the worship room with a colorful ceiling light. The four-sided spire appears to be triangular, triangles being Wrights favorite shape. More images of this church - from different perspectives - are in my portfolio. |
