Triceratops was one of the last dinosaurs to walk the earth, living until the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event 66 million years ago. It was a very large animal, measuring 26-30 feet in length and weighing up to six to ten metric tons. Its known for its large head which could grow to over eight feet long, with a neck frill and three horns. |
