Author, social commentator, journalist, historian, and broadcaster, A Pullitzer Prize winner, Studs Terkel pauses to reflect during an interview and discussion with actor Jack Lemmon in Chicago, Illinois in March, 1982. His long-running daily radio show emanating from Chicago was aptly named, `Studs` Place.` Terkel died on October 31, 2008 at the age of 96. He once noted thathe would like his tombstone to read, 'Curiosity did not kill this cat.' He is known, as well, for his frequent refrain, 'Take it easy,but take it.'
