Double Oscar-winning actor Jack Lemmon answers a question on his work in the 1982 film `Missing,` for which he received an Academy Award nomination that year. The interview and discussion was part of `Studs` Place,` hosted by Studs Terkel; Chicago, Illinois; March 8, 1982. A Harvard alum, Lemmon received 8 Academy Award nominations in his over 50-year career of 60 film performances, he won twice. In 1955 he won for Best Supporting Actor in `Mister Roberts.` In 1973 he received Best Leading Actor for his work in `Save the Tiger.` Towards the end of his luminous, prolific career, Lemmon won his second Emmy, for Best Leading Actor in `Tuesdays with Morrie.` Lemmon died in Los Angeles in 2001 at the age of 81.
