The Temple of Venus and Rome is located at the eastern end of the Roman Forum near the Colosseum. It was one of the largest temples in Rome, addressed to the deities of Venus Félix and Roma Aeterna. Built by Emperor Publius Élio Trajano Adriano, better known as Roman Emperor Hadrian, its construction began in 121 AD
