Bali, Turtle, turtles saved (Red-eared turtle) in the Sea Turtle Conservation and Education Center in Serangan, Denpasar, Bali in Indonesia. The Turtle Conservation And Education Centre (TCEC) is located on Serangan Island, Bali, Indonesia and was opened by the governors of Bali on the 20 January 2006. TCEC was formed and developed with the aim to eradicate illegal turtle trading on the island. TCEC supports the local community of Serangan, so together they can find alternatives to the illegal turtle trade.
