| One of the many sundials on the exterior of the Friulian Farming Culture Museum (Museo della Civilta Contadina del Friuli Imperiale) in Aiello del Friuli, Italy. This one is known as the Meridana ad Ore Astronomiche (Sundial with Astronomical Hours). The gnomon is perpendicular to the wall and the shadow shows the time and the period of the year. |
