The Netherlands, province Limburg, city, provincial capital Maastricht: in the city center historical center is the shop of the NV Toeback `d`Hollandse damper` in the street Muntstraat. This house, building, structure was built in the early twentieth century by the Maastricht architect V. Mares in a rationalist style. A special feature of this historic building is the storefront with basement windows, the display cabinets and stained-glass skylights, windows. In the facade corner there is a cornerstone with sandstone relief, sculpture, of a head of a man, representing a court jester. This building is alandmark, cultural heritage site, national monument and tourist attraction. In the house the glasses specialty store Smeck is located today. On the shopping street in a pedestrian zone, strolling, walking, people, tourists, vacationers, day trippers, shoppers to enjoy this cultural asset and the shops and social conversation. A man, a laborer, a street sweeper, with his garbage cart, is working on the street, he keeps the streets clean.
