| The colorful Stravinsky Fountain near the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France, was designed by Niki de Saint Phalle (the whimsical colored sculptures) and Jean Tinguely (the black mechanical sculptures) and erected in 1983. The church of Saint-Merri is in the background, along with several large pieces of wall art. The fountain was inspired by the musical works of Igor Stravinsky. |
