Ticha is a dam in northeastern Bulgaria. It is the seventh largest in our country. The total volume of the dam is 311,800,000m3 - 271,800,000m3 useful volume and 40,000,000m3 dead volume. The height of the wall is 55.50m, and the flooded area when the dam is full is 18,700 decares. The nearest town is Veliki Preslav, which is less than 10 km from the overflow wall of the dam. Nearby cities are also the town of Varbitsa at 18 km and the town of Shumen at 40 km. Its circumference is over 100 km and it is the dam with the largest circumference in Bulgaria.
