| Executive Producer Frank Rich, Stephen Sondheim, and James Lapine, Director and Executive Producer, arrive on the red carpet for the New York premiere of the HBO bio-documentary, `Six By Sondheim,` on the iconic composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim. The event was held at Manhattanââ¬â¢s Museum of Modern Art on November 18, 2013. In his lengthy and productive career, Sondheim won 8 Tonys for Best Musical Score and another Tony for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, in 2008. He also won a Pulitzer and a Presidential Award. Sondheim died at his home, in Roxbury, Connecticut, on November 26, 2021, at the age of 91. |
