One of the entrance sentinel - simha-gaja. Its located at the entrance of the dance platform of The Surya mandir, Konark, Odisha, India. This temple is one of the nicest place in India. Built up near 13 century AD Surya mandir is one of the beautiful example of Kalinga architecture. This temple looks like a giant stone chariot pulled by seven horses. This mandir also famous by its mithuna sculptures.
