| Gate North Cape at the northernmost point of mainland Netherlands. The North Cape is located on north side of the Emmapolder, on the outskirts of the municipality Eemsmond in the province of Groningen. To mark the spot and thus by analogy with the Drielandenpunt to attract more tourists in 2002 the artwork The Gates of Heaven or Gate North Cape made in 2001 was placed. The dike is grazed by sheep and a goat. |
