| On September 12, 2003, celebrating the birthday of Siauliai, the sculpture Ausra (The Dawn) was unveiled near the old park (sculptor Dalia Matulaite). This monument perpetuated the memory of Ausra newspaper, its publishers and fellows who took part in the movement for the recovery of the Lithuanian word. |
