Melton had a breadout performance, catching 6 balls for 127 yards and a touchdown. Pacheco, an explosive back, had 156 yards rushing. The game had a historic context because 150 years earlier, Rutgers beat Princeton 6-4 in the first inter-collegiate football game which was played in neighboring New Brunswick, NJ in 1869. To the present day, Rutgers is known as the `Birthplace of College Football.`
