Rustic Bunting scientific name: Emberiza rustica males have a black head and crest with white eyebrow lines and a small white spot on the ear feathers. Body chestnut red with black longitudinal stripes, wings and tail grayish brown. Cheeks, throat to lower body white, with chestnut chest ring, chestnut on both sides. The female is similar to the male, with lighter plumage, replacing the black part of the male with a yellowish-brown. The iris is dark brown; the upper beak and the tip of the mouth are brown, the lower beak is flesh-colored; the feet are yellow. It often inhabits plains, shrubs and swamp meadows, but also in the foothills of low mountains and open fields. It migrates in groups and mixes with other buntings, but it is often alone in winter and is not afraid of people. The main food is grass seeds and grains. The chirping of spring is sweet,
