| This is a ruffled grouse in late October after the first snow fall near Yellowknife Northwest Territoties Canada. The bird is primarily grey in colour with white highlights and some brownish highlights around the neck. There is a slight glimmer in the far right corner of the bird`s eye. The feather patterns are clearly seen. The bird is walking in the snow with some gravel still seenon the ground. The bird is eating gravel which it needs for its digestive system. |
