| The Densus Church in the village of Densus, Hunedoara County, Romania is one of the oldest Romanian churches still standing. The existence of the church stretches back to the Roman and Dacian times, the church being built from river stones, bricks with roman inscriptions, funerary stones and columns, all taken from the Ulpia Traiana Sarmisegetusa, the former Roman Dacian capital nearby. |
