| The Colt Orthodox Monastery is situated in the village of Suseni, at the foot of the Retezat Mountains. It was built at the beginning of 14th century by a wealthy Romanian family in the are. The Fortress-Church is made of stone, and has a fortified tower, where the monks used to keep their valuables and sheltered themselves in times of danger. |
