This rare and untouched landscape is home to some of Scotland`s rarest wildlife. Above the loch, the peaks of the Slioch range can be seen. The pine forest is part of the ancient post-glacial woodland - the Forest of Caledonia - which is situated on the slopes of the huge mountain, Beinn Eighe.
