| This beautiful Monastery is located in Maramures county at an altitude of 1,413 m at the summit of the Prislop Pass, on the border between Maramure? and Bucovina. The foundation stone of the monastery was laid in 1999, and the community of the settlement set up a monument to the fallen heroes in the First World War here. The Church of the Prislop Monastery has two Shrines: "Change of Face" and "Holy Trinity". |
