| Pictured is a mural featuring Prince on the wall of the Ponchaveli Studio in Dallas, Texas. It was painted by the award winning self taught artist and studio owner, Theo Ponchaveli. Prince sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He won eight Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, a Golden Globe Award,and an Academy Award for the 1984 film Purple Rain. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. In 2016, at the age of 57, Prince died tragically of an accidental fentanyl overdose. |
