Pretty little monarch butterfly on top of purple coneflower in a field

I can never get enough of taking pictures of monarch butterflies. They are one of the most beautiful butterflies around. I took this picture of this little guy when passing a wildflower field close to my house. They are really marvelous to watch work through the flowers. This particular one is sitting on top of a somewhat wilting purple coneflower. She is collecting all the nectar she can to help fuel her day. I love the way her legs are spread out clinging to this and how her face seems to be tilting down almost in concentration of what she is doing. Her black and white spotted furry body is so cute. The colors of her wings almost reminds you of a sunrise with the different shades of orange outlined in black. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township nature preserve close to Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
