According to legend - let us remind you - in 1521 the Teutonic Knights decided to attack Elbl?g. And when they wanted to enter the city, the brave Piekarczyk cut the thick ropes on which the oak grate in the gate hung with his Piekarczyk shovel. The ropes began to break and the grate finally slid down. Thanks to this, the Teutonic Knights left the city walls.
