| Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and longtime girlfriend and mother of their 3 children, costume designer Mimi Oââ¬â¢Donnell, arrive on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre in Manhattan for the New York premiere of ââ¬ÅMission Impossible 3,ââ¬Â on May 3, 2006. Hoffman won the Academy Award for Best Actor in ââ¬ÅCapote,ââ¬Â and was nominated for a Tony for Leading Role by an Actor in a Play for his role in ââ¬ÅArthur Millerââ¬â¢s Death of a Salesman,ââ¬Â in 2012. Among the other films in which he appeared are, ââ¬ÅDoubt,ââ¬Â ââ¬ÅThe Hunger Games,ââ¬Â ââ¬ÅBoogie Nights,ââ¬Â ââ¬ÅMagnolia,ââ¬Â and ââ¬ÅAlmost Famous.ââ¬Â Hoffman died on Feb. 2, 2014, in his Manhattan apartment at the age of 46 from an apparent drug overdose. |
