| The Clover Hill Tavern was built in 1819 and was restored in 1954 as part of Appomattox Courthouse National Park, Virginia. The tavern served as the site for printing the paroles that released 30,000 soldiers in the Confederate Army following the end of the American Civil War in 1865. |
