| The Nehru Park at Guwahati-Assam, is a very popular tourist attraction in the city. Named after the first prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, this beautiful park is open for all.Besides the numerous trees that offers a pristine and verdant environment in the park, there are around 45 concrete statutes. The statues depict the various dance forms of the state including Bihu, Jhumur dance (dance of the tea tribes of Assam).There is also a rock garden and a open air theater. |
