The monument of tsarina Eudoxia Streshneva Tsarevich Alexei Mikhailovich, Meshchovsk St. George monastery in the town of Meshchovsk Kaluga region in Russia. Tsarina Evdokiya Lukyanovna, born Streshneva (1608 ââ¬â 18 August 1645) ââ¬â the second wife of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich with 5 Feb 1626, the mother of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, the founder of the Romanov dynasty, which ruled Russia after the Time of Troubles. The Queen did much for the establishment of Meshchovsk monastery and the city itself. |
