Tsarina Evdokiya Lukyanovna, born Streshneva (1608 — 18 August 1645) — the second wife of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich with 5 Feb 1626, the mother of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, the founder of the Romanov dynasty, which ruled Russia after the Time of Troubles. The Queen did much for the establishment of Meshchovsk monastery and the city itself.
