The monument to Garibaldi is a Carrara white marble statue located in the Giuseppe Garibaldi square next to the Animosi Theater.
The sculpture is placed on a tall cylindrical base, decorated with a series of lictorial fasces and festoons, designed by architect Perusi. The statue shows Garibaldi in the act of landing at Marsala, his sword drawn upward to encourage his men. |
