Actress, singer, dancer, and star of stage, screen and tv, Mitzi Gaynor belts out a song in concert at the Mill Run Theatre in Niles, Illinois near her hometown of Chicago in December, 1981. Gaynor, also an author, achieved international renown when she performed the lead in the film adaptation of the musical, `South Pacific.` Her role was that of `Nellie Forbush,` US Navy Ensign.
