Pictured is a sculpture over a doorway in the Oudemanhuispoort, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It is an allegorical group of images. The center woman represents the Mildness. Her cornucopia represents abundance. The book to her left represents wisdom. The now missing oil lamp on the book represented enlightenment. The man on the left represents poverty and man on the right represents old age. It was signed by Amsterdam sculptor Anthony Ziesensis in 1786.
