This is a Winter picture of the McAllister Covered Bridge over the Little Raccoon Creek located in Rockville, Indiana in Parke County. This 144 foot long example of a Burr Arch Truss single-span Bridge, it was built by J.A. Britton, it was constructed in 1914 and rebuilt in 1977. This bridge was added to the National Register of Historic zplaces on December 22, 1978. This picture was taken on January 9, 2018.
